Add a line break in text

Normally you press [enter] when you've finished editing an item in Coggle, to close and save the item.

There are several ways to add a line break instead:

• hold the [ctrl] key before pressing [enter]
• or, hold the [alt] key before pressing [enter]
• or, select some text before pressing [enter](the selected text will be removed).
• or, first drag the corner of the text editing area to enlarge it, once the text box has been resized the [enter] key will add a new line break without closing the item.

In our mobile apps on touch-screen devices, [enter] will always add a line break, just tap elsewhere on the screen to close the text editor.
