Remove a cross-link

If you've  created a crosslink, then you might later want to remove one. There are two ways to remove the dashed line:

Either hold [ctrl] (or [alt] on Mac), and click the button which appears when you hover over the link (as you hold the key, the button will turn into an (X):

Or alternatively, you can edit the text in the item to remove the Markdown link which specifies the cross-link: this looks something like [#](#abc123), depending on the item being linked to.
