Change Where a Branch Connects to an Item

Mind-map items in Coggle (items where the text sits on the branch) only have a single place that they can be connected to.

To change the position of the connecting branches relative to the text, first choose a different option from the shape menu:

For items with shape bubbles, or where the text interrupts the branch, branches connect to the closest of the four points on the top, bottom, left and right.

To change where a branch connects to, add a control point to the branch (control points are included in all of our paid plans). The position of the last control point on the branch is used to select the connection point:
